Winter has stepped in and has brought with it scratchy dry skin. Which means it is time for some extra skin pampering while in the shower. My recent purchase of the Olay Body Wash Plus Body Butter Ribbons proved bang on to tackle the winter skin problems.
Olay Body Wash Plus Body Butter Ribbons is a body wash which has body butter added to it.
What the company claims
“Wrap your skin in a fragrant, luxurious lather created from two intertwined ribbons—one cleanses skin while the other moisturizes—for visibly improved skin in only five days. Contains two intertwined ribbons of body wash and body butter for excellent moisturization while you cleanse.”
Product
Olay body wash comes in a cute purple plastic bottle with a flip cap. You can store the bottle upside down so that it is easy to take out the product when required. The body wash plus body butter combo is a purple colored product – similar to the outer packaging. It is thick in texture.
My Experience
First impression when you look at the packaging is that you are holding a good quality product. The color, shape of bottle and the label, all look very stylish. Then you open the flip cap to take out the thick creamy body wash which has a light fruity/floral? fragrance nothing overpowering.
You can take a loofah and pour a big dollop of the product on the loofah. Then you simply relax and enjoy the rich luxurious lather that gets created. Once you wash off your skin is left so soft and smooth. You can also use this as a shaving cream in the shower.
I would recommend this product specially for the coming winter months. If you tend to have extremely dry skin you will have to top this up with a moisturizer but for oily skinned beauties, you can opt to skip the moisturizer unless your skin starts to feel dry during the day.

- is moisturizing
- quantity is very good for the price
What I don’t like
- claim about transforming skin after 5 days – skin does feel much smoother after each application but I don’t agree that it gets transformed in 5 days
