Plum Angel Eyes Kohl Kajal and Sharpener Review, Swatches and Price

Hello girls, all those of you who wear a kohl almost daily please raise your hands! I know atleast 80% of you must have raised their hand - ok well not really raised it but you meant to because you do use it everyday right?

I personally do not use a kohl everyday but have a lot of friends who do. So this review is for all of you specially if you wear contacts or have sensitive eyes.

Today I am sharing a kajal from a brand called Plum (website is plumgoodness.com) This kohl kajal is called Angel Eyes. It is a 100% natural kohl that is aimed to give you long wear without harming your eyes at all.

Oh and before I forget - do participate in the Kawaii Box Giveaway which ends on the 17th of December - you can win yourself a box full of cute goodies from Japan and Korea.

Angel Eyes True Black kohl kajal is made with no synthetic dyes, preservatives or other chemicals. It contains a few oils like jojoba oil, macadamia oil and chamomile extracts. Angel Eyes kohl kajal is specially formulated for regions like India which are dusty, and where one has to go through a high exposure to sun and pollution.

The Plum Angel Eyes Kohl Kajal comes in a lovely white pencil with purple lettering on it. It is a regular pencil that needs to be sharpened but you get a really cute yellow and purple sharpener with it. There is not too much product wastage as I don't have to sharpen too often.

The sharpener is made of plastic but has a soft silicon cover that allows you to close the sharpener so that nothing gets stuck in the open ends if you are carrying this or have kept it in a drawer full of products. It has two sharpening ends - one for thin pencils like Angel Eyes and one for thicker pencils.

Angel Eyes Kohl Kajal True Black is a jet black kajal. It takes a few minutes to settle down so you can easily smudge it if you are using it as a liner. The texture is very smooth. It stays on for only 2 hours on the waterline for me and settles into the lower lash line. It is not waterproof and is hence easily removable.

I actually use this as an eyeliner with some eye shadow to make it last longer. Since I rub my eyes too frequently the staying power is lower on my eyes. Girls who do not have runny eyes or a tendency to rub your eyes, you will find a longer staying time with this kohl.

Angel Eyes Kohl Kajal Price: Rs 425 (sharpener comes free with it)
Sharpener Price: Rs 125

You can see the swatch below - the top part is where I have gently smudged the kajal as soon as I applied it.

I have used this liner while wearing contacts and have had no issues with it. I will highly recommend this to girls who are opting for natural products and also to girls with sensitive eyes.

My rating: 4/5

Do you girls change your makeup as the weather changes? I do and would love to hear your views on this.
