Do you guys remember when I first tried a foundation from FACES? It was over 2 years ago and I simply fell in love with it. At that time I had ended up with a shade that was slightly dark for my skin tone yet I still loved it because of the texture and final appearance it gave.

FACES has a new foundation at the end of last year called the Glam On Prime Perfect Foundation. I started using this one about a month ago. Read on to know if this one stole my heart as well or not!

Packaging and Ingredients

FACES Glam On Prime Perfect Foundation comes in an easy to carry black colored tube that has a golden screw cap. It has a small nozzle that dispenses the foundation. Ingredients are mentioned on the outer packaging carton.

My Experience With FACES Prime Perfecting Foundation

The texture of the foundation is light weight and creamy. It does not have any fragrance. It is easy to blend with fingers, sponge or brush.

I use this foundation after moisturizing my face. It blends like a dream and stays put for about 4-5 hours after which it fades just a tad bit. It has good coverage and can be layered (provided you don't layer too thick!)

If you have dry skin you might end up with slightly dry patches when you start off if you don't moisturize your skin well or if you layer too much product. Through the day the dryness will go away. The packaging does say that it contains Hyaluronic Acid that is said to keep the skin hydrated.

It would work for all skin types so long as you moisturize correctly.
For super oily skinned beauties I'd recommend using a primer underneath to get the best results.

And now my verdict - YES YES YES! It did steal my heart! Its just as good as the earlier foundation I had used from FACES and has become my daily foundation for work. It adds a sort of blur to the skin making it appear more radiant. And it works well for my oily-combination skin.
This foundation also photographs well.

I tried two different shades, Beige and Sand. Beige is number 03 which is one shade lighter than Sand (04). Beige is slightly more cool toned. I have smothered a lot of product in the swatches below to give you an idea. For my skin tone Sand vanishes into my skin - its the perfect shade match.

  2. I think the staying power is a common issue with primer foundations. However, I think I need sand. The review was really helpful.
