Recently I reviewed the Sunsilk Keratinology Detoxifying Shampoo and promised to review a couple of more products from the range. Next product in this range is the Sunsilk Keratinology Express Treatment Conditioner. If you wish to know more about the Keratinology range you can check my post HERE.
What the company Claims
The Sunsilk Keratinology Express Treatment Conditioner is aimed at treating damaged hair – the company claims that this can help reconstruct damaged hair.
The Product
The Express Treatment Conditioner comes in a lovely sleek bottle with a fitted cap. Same packaging as the Detoxifying Shampoo from the same range. You have to press the cap from one side and it flips open at the other end from which you can pour out the conditioner. The Express Treatment Conditioner is very similar to the shampoo in terms of its fawn color and wonderful fruity fragrance. The texture however is very thick (as you can see in the swatch image below)
My Experience
I love this conditioner just as much as I love the shampoo. A small amount is good enough for my waist length hair. I apply it right after shampoo on wet hair, leave it on for about 2 minutes, and then wash it off thoroughly. Hair feels very soft and smooth.
It does not do much for split ends but all I can say is that it is working on my hair; fly-aways have reduced, hair is more shiny and hopefully with regular usage damage will be reduced.
The only problem I have with this conditioner is that it weighs my hair down one day after the hair wash. Which basically means my hair starts feeling dirty faster when I am using the conditioner (but that in my case happens with all conditioners I have tried so far)
Overall recommended to all those who are looking for something to tame their unruly tresses!

What I like
- tames my hair making it look smooth
- fragrance is lovely
- works with hard water without causing dandruff
- does not deteriorate hair fall
What I don’t like
- I wish it wouldn’t weight my hair down by the second day so that I could go on longer without a head wash specially now that winters are here I prefer longer gaps between head wash routines.

Thanks Niesha - if you find normal conditioners weighing down your hair then this is no different - but there is no 'extra' weighing down when compared to other conditioners so you can give it a try - but if you need something to use only weekly then watch this space for another product from this range which is my top favourite - keeping the best for the last :)
