This is a picture heavy post because when I started taking pictures of this I just had to take so many shots of the magnet in action. A video would have been better but I'm not planning on venturing into the world of videos just yet. That's a whole different world and I'll need an extra few hours in my day to get something like that done.

China Glaze Magnetix - You Move Me |
So now coming back to the post - today I am reviewing a magnetic nail polish by China Glaze. First of all for all of you who are not familiar with magnetic polishes I'd like to tell you that these polishes have very fine iron particles in them. Since iron gets attracted to magnets, when you bring a magnet close to your wet nails, the iron particles get attracted to the magnet forming different patterns on the nails. Once dry these patterns form your nail art.
As simple as this may sound you do need patterned magnets to create pieces of art on your nails. I did not purchase the magnet and tried to work with a magnet lying around the house. Well it works but I got very random patterns owing to the shape of the magnet I used.

China Glaze You Move Me a lovely brown nail paint with silver particles in it. These silver particles turn black when they cluster together (these are the iron particles). You can wear this polish all by itself without using a magnet to get a lovely shimmery brown on your nails.

If you look at the image above all my nails appear different because I moved the magnet on top of them. The little finger appears so much darker.
Now below are some pictures where you can see the bottle of nail paint turn black wherever the magnet is brought close to it.

Overall I love the color but I'm not too fond of knowing that I have iron fillings in my nail paint. Although there is not enough research on whether this is harmful for us or not I am a little skeptical about using it. I will restrict its usage only for nail art purposes. It is a gorgeous color and I love the name 'You Move Me'
