In a recent mailer about new product launches at the Born Pretty Store I found that they had launched women's watches. The watches were all so pretty that I spent a long time just browsing them and as I was about to close the window, cheating myself with just one last look, I stumbled upon this cute looking wrist watch.
I used to be a wrist watch person in college but soon graduated to using only my mobile for checking the time. That's when all my earlier watches started collecting dust. But a watch that doubles up as a bracelet is still always welcome.
And so I saw this watch and I knew I had to have it. I checked the price (did a little conversion) and pressed checkout. In about a week I got a really cute little box in the mail. A black, orange and white striped box with an orange ribbon. I wasn't expecting my order to reach so soon and was surprised to open the box. There on a soft velvet pillow sat my bracelet watch.

It just looked so adorable. The color shown on the website was a more softer red (almost like a brown red) but I loved the bright red color and the cute little butterfly just melted my heart. The good thing is the watch has an adjustable strap and it fit me (although I had to tighten it to the max, yes I have weirdly thin wrists!)
It has thin read leather straps, one leather plait, and one strap with beads and the butterfly charm. The dial has that vintage no fuss look.
