This is the second primer in my kitty which I got a few months back. Today I'm sharing the review of Colorbar Perfect Match Primer from the perspective of a girl with oily skin having horrible patchy dry skin days because of the weather.
There is no fragrance in the product, it is transparent almost gel-like to look at but smooths out like a dream when you apply it on your face. One thing to make sure is DO NOT massage it like a cream. Dot it on your face and blend it in one direction. If you randomly move your hand with this it will behave a bit like fevicol - you know how fevicol shrivels and comes off if you get it on your hands - something like that.
Ok now coming to the how it faired on my skin.
1. It did not break me out
2. It minimizes the appearance of pores (does not fill in pits if you know what I mean, but generally makes your skin appear smoother)
3. Really controls oil on the face
4. Reduces redness
5. Using a BB/CC cream on top of the primer makes the BB/CC cream stay on longer.
One tube costs Rs 825 for 30ml.
This year I had started off with the aim of finding one good budget primer and on high end primer for myself. This is just the first one from the lot I have tried. I am trying the Clarins beauty balm cream which a lot of bloggers use as a primer but that will be reviewed in another post. If you have recommendations for primers that you think I must try do let me know. If there is a primer you have heard rave reviews about but would like me to try it out first before you make your purchase, let me know and I'll purchase it on my next haul.
