Review: Pantene Pro-V Oil Replacement Hair Cream

When winters started, I knew I was going to use a lot of heat on my hair. That is when I saw the advert on TV about Pantene Pro-V oil replacement cream. I finally tried it out over a few weeks and decided to share my review with you all.

The cream comes in a very easy to use soft tube. The tube is golden and looks quite nice. It has a flip top for ease of use.

Price: Rs 150  [180 mL] available online

The cream is white in color and smells like most Pantene products. It's kind of difficult to explain, somewhere with fruity/floral notes and the fragrance does linger on for some time. I personally like the fragrance but some people with a highly sensitive nose may not be able to handle it.

The texture of the cream is non-runny, non-greasy, and yet rich. It smooths out well on wet hair. On dry hair use a smaller amount and then layer if it feels inadequate. I've used it mostly on wet hair before drying out the hair. It helps settle down the frizz on my hair but nothing as spectacular as is shown in the TV advert.

What it does do is makes my hair more manageable. They entangle less and are easier to comb through. I've also used it in tiny amounts on my dry hair when I needed my hair to settle down on days I did not wash them.

Overall at the price point it is offered, I would recommend you try it out if you are looking for something to tame those flyaway hair and make your hair manageable.
