Getting a hair cut is very relaxing but I usually have long gaps between my regular hair-cut simply because I never have the time to go to a salon. These are the times when a tool like the

There are different techniques that can be used with the clip. I have just tried cutting my bangs and found it super easy to use.
Basically you comb the section of hair that needs a cut. You clip the hair near the head and pull the clip down to the length you finally need. Then you need to adjust the clip so that the little balance bubble is right in the center - this tells you that you are cutting straight.

Then you need a pair of sharp scissors and you simply sniff off the extra length focusing along the edge of the clip.
You can check my before and after pics to see that the bangs got cut perfectly.

So now when I'm in between two salon visits I can trim off the uneven edges at home at my own convenience. This also helps me get rid of split ends before they become ugly.
