OK so now after days of no review post here I am with a short and quick review of ORLY Instant Nail Artist. It is such a handy little thing when it comes to doing nail art. Since I'm not a professional nail artist I always used to underestimate the importance of the right tools. It was always just my toothpick and me living happily ever after with my nail paints until I came across this Artist!

I had purchased this bottle of a purple colored nail paint where the description told me that it was long lasting and had a lot of benefits. From the name I assumed it would be good for doing nail art and just purchased it and I am so glad I did!

Coming back to what I think of this product. First I love the sleek packaging and the handle that has groves to make it easier to hold. The applicator brush is a striping brush which is long and thin. The tip of the brush was not neat when I opened it so I had to snip off just a tiny bit to get the extra bristle cut to proper length. Otherwise the brush is very easy to use and gives perfectly straight lines. I even used this (after washing) with another nail paint from China Glaze and it worked well.

The nail paint is water based so in case you make a mistake you can quickly wash it off but once it settles then it settles and you will need a nail polish remover to clean it off. There is no fragrance in the polish which is good. I used this for a couple of nail arts and it fared quite well. The ease of application, the control and the smoothness of the lines is well noted. I do feel that without a top coat this nail paint comes off much quicker. So it might come off within 3 days if you don't have a top coat. Other than that I give it full points for making my life so much easier with straight lines in nail art.

The finish as you can see is creamy matte which is great. With a top coat it becomes shinier. I need to get hold of these in different colors or at-least purchase some good nail art brushes - now that I have opened my world to them!
