After some misplaced cartons, a long delay and a lot of waiting, my August Vellvette Bag (yes its a bag again this time) is finally here.
I really liked the black bag, I actually liked the pink one as well, the quality is nice and it is quite spacious to store things easily.
Alright now coming back to what I got in the bag. I got 1 full sized product which is the lip gloss from Sally Hansen.
Since I like Sally Hansen products I was super happy to see this. The color is a gorgeous natural looking shade but I gave it a try and it doesn't cover pigmentation so I might not be able to use this on its own. Will see how it fares after a few more uses. This is a lip inflation lip gloss and I could see the inflation when I tried it on. You'll have to wait for me to do a proper review of this to know more details on this.
I got 3 sachets of I Love.... Mango face mask. I really want to try this but I wish instead of sachets this had come in a tube or a small tub. This is a peel of face mask so it will be scrutinized more rigorously as I usually dislike peel of masks.
There are tiny, and I mean really tiny, tubes of SK-II and H2O products. Since H2O was highlighted as the main brand this time I was hoping for a decent sized product. These tubes are so small that I don't think I'll be able to review these. All I can do at best is tell you my first hand experience. SK-II is a cleanser while the H2O tube is a sea mineral mud mask.
So overall I liked the products sent but I'm a bit disappointed at getting such tiny samples. I am sure the product counters would offer such small sized samples for free.
Vellvette is tempting me again to try out the September box because its their anniversary box but I'm double minded whether I should or should not purchase it. I do know that all these tiny samples are just sitting with my (some still unopened!)
You girls help me sell off the stuff I have in the blog sale so that I can make some space to buy more things. I am really running out of space to store my stuff now :D
