What's In Your Beauty Bag

This post is part of a fun contest by Healthkart where I've been tagged to post about #WhatsInYourBeautyBag. So I thought why not go ahead and show you what I cannot do without and always carry with me specially during summers.

Now this is not a regular Whats In Your Beauty Bag post. The challenge here is to pick 5 products which cost a total of Rs 1500 - so I have to make sure I don't exceed the given budget. This again is interesting because a lot of times we are not sure what we should buy when we are on a tight budget.

I hope my list helps you in choosing some good must have products without burning a whole in your wallet (You can click the name of the product to go to the website for purchasing)

1. Votre Toner, Pore Shrink
A good toner gives a nice clean base to your skin. I also use this after washing my face to ensure all my makeup is gone and my skin feels fresh.

Price: Rs 360 (for 100ml)


2. Vaadi Herbals Lip Balm (Strawberry)
Summers are extremely drying for the lips so before you put on any lipstick make sure you coat them with a nice lip balm. If you don't wear lipstick you can wear just a lip balm for that fresh rosy glow to on your lips. Also use a lip balm at night to wake up to soft lips every morning.

3. Auravedic Pure Brightening Whitening Radiance Sunblock Lotion, SPF 30+ 
Having a good sunblock is important throughout the year and specially during the summer. So you should invest in a good sunscreen lotion with an SPF of at-least 15.

4. L'Oreal Paris True Match BB Cream
Once the skin is sorted out you need a little bit of makeup to help you conquer the world. In summers I like to keep it natural with a clean base. While I can't do without my foundation in winters, its BB Creams that are apt for summers. My pick this summers is the L'Oreal Paris True Match BB Cream.

5. Maybelline Colossal Kajal
To create glamorous smudge free eyes I suggest carrying the Maybelline Colossal Kajal - use it do outline your eyes during the day and smudge it for smokey eyes in the evening.

6. Lotus Herbals Seduction Botanical Tinted Lip Gloss
Now to add a hint of color to your lips try the Lotus Herbals Seduction Botanical Tinted Lip Gloss. It will keep your lips moisturized while adding a hint of color. This summer the colors are bold and bright but for work I prefer shades like Mocha Spice specially with kohled lined eyes. If you opt for brighter colors then keep the eyes minimalist (line just the upper lid)

All in all I have managed 6 lovely products within my budget - the total comes out to Rs 1490
