Letters To Juliet - Movie Inspired Nail Art - Water Marble Nails

Hi friends, how is everyone out there? I am doing good but tired of the hot humid weather (and this is just the start of summers!) Today I'm sharing with you a nail art I did for the STNChallenges Inspirational June, head over to my facebook page to find out more about the challenge. The first theme for the month of June is movie/book inspired nails. Also I am part of ILLChallenge and the theme this week was water marble nails - so as always I clubbed them both together!

My first and only movie inspired nails were based on The Devil Wears Prada (head over HERE to see what I had done). But I have always wanted to do something based on the movie Letters To Juliet. I found the movie so refreshing, the locations were picturesque and it had songs just like our bollywood movies. Its a very girly movie so if you like them do watch it. (Oh and I loved the hair styles that Amanda Seyfried had throughout the movie).

I have tried to depict the letters in the movie and the romance that it portrays. 

There are three techniques that I used this time. Water marble for 3 fingers, newspaper print on two of them - this is to depict the letters written to Juliet in the movie, and stamping. I stamped little hearts on the first finger and a picture of a boy and girl facing each other with gifts hidden behind, both from the MoYou Rebel Plate 03.

 For the newspaper print all you have to do is dip a piece of newspaper in water and then press it hard against your nail. Try using a paper that doesn't have text or print on the backside else that might leave some ink on your nail too.

This is the first time I have done newspaper print nails and quite enjoyed doing it. They haven't come out so well but I got the hang of the basic technique, will do a proper tutorial when I can do a better job myself :)

For water marble nails you can follow the tutorial I did long time back HERE. This time I used a decal technique but did not have time to do a tutorial - so there are two tutorials already lined up now.
