Unboxing My Envy Box - September Edition

Here I am back again with this month's My Envy Box. This time the box is slightly smaller in size (and it looks really cute) and the logo embossed on it is like a golden seal - very classy indeed.

My Envy Box can be purchased as a one-time or monthly subscription box.
Price: Rs 850 (you will get discounts if you subscribe for longer periods)

Now let us see what is hidden inside the little box. The box always houses the products in a soft cotton pouch. These pouches come in handy when you want to store little knick-knacks.

The September My Envy Box seems to be focused on making me my skin firmer whether it be the body or face - oh how I wish that magic would work! Alright, so these are the products that I got, from left to right in a clockwise direction.

1. L'Occitane En Provence Almond Shaping Delight (Price Rs 3790 for 200ml)

L'Occitane Almond Shaping Delight is a firming toning cream. My Envy Box contains two pouches of this product which for such a product is a very tiny sample size. I think the most this will help me figure out is if my body likes the product in terms of skin allergies. The two sachets would most likely give me two uses only. I really wish L'Occitane sample sizes were increased. My previous samples have also come in sachets and you all know how much I detest using and managing sachets.

2. Za Perfect Solution Restoring Collagen Cream (Price: Rs 1200 for 40gm)
The restoring collagen cream from Za came in a very cute little pot. I have already tried this and the quantity in the sample will last me atleast 3 weeks of daily use. This is a good sized sample. The cream spreads so easily and only a small quantity is sufficient - it reminds me of the texture of headache balms!

3. Thalgo Cryodetox Mask (Price: Rs 1715 for 50ml)
I have got so many samples of Thalgo products in my previous envy boxes and prior to that in my fab bags. I have decided to collect them all in one place and create a small regime of only Thalgo products for one entire week - just to see them all in action together. The Cryodetox mask is meant to work on fatigued skin - really something I need right now!

4. Chloe - Roses De Chloe (Price: Rs 4900 for 50ml)
I absolutely love the little fragrance samples that come in My Envy Box. The samples are perfect travel companions and allow me to explore expensive brands without a visit to the store. And this Roses De Chloe is a fragrance that smelt amazing to my floral fragrance loving nose!

5. Bottega Di Lungavita - Vita Age In Face Scrub (Price: Rs 790 for 75ml)
Now this is a new brand and I think looking at the price a larger sample could have been provided. But overall I'm glad to try it out - I like using scrubs, love the squeaky clean feeling they give.

Five products as usual, a little disappointment with sachets, but overall a lovely box once again. I hope my next box has something makeup related - I miss getting a surprise makeup item :)

Till next time... oh leave your comments and tell me what I can do with all these pretty boxes - suggest something different or a DIY maybe?

  1. I agree. Even I think the June and July Boxes have been the best so far!
