Celebrity Style Skirts And Where To Buy Them

When it comes to fashion a good skirt is a must have in your wardrobe. Skirts come in many shapes and sizes; from pencil skirts that enhance your figure to the long flowy kinds that look super romantic. There are so many movies that I have seen where I loved the skirts worn by the actresses. There are celebrities who wear skirts and you just want to grab that awesome looking piece for yourself.

I'll share a few skirt styles that I really like and help you find out something similar online for yourself.

The first one that comes to my mind is Letter's To Juliet. This movie happens to be one of my favorites. I am a die hard romantic and just love the feel of this movie.

The Pencil Skirt

Amanda Seyfried wore such pretty outfits in the movie. Understated, elegant and very girly. I love this picture where she is wearing a pencil black skirt. You can get a similar one from Kaaryah - Black Pencil Skirt.

Team it up with a crisp white shirt and black pumps and you are all set to go to work looking super chic. Wear it with a sequined top and some pencil high heels and your work wear just got transformed to a fun evening out. Keep the skirt above your knees if you have long legs and let the skirt hem touch cover just your calves if you are on the heavier side.


Pencil skirts also come in various prints as well. You can opt for small geometric or floral prints depending on your mood and the occassion. Moving on to another skirt style that looks really nice and was my favorite during college is the printed maxi skirt (and I still love this skirt style!). Ethnic prints on breathable fabrics make this skirt a winner for the scorching summers. Teamed with a nice plain t-shirt or a tank top with a scarf, some chunky jewelery and you are ready to rock the look that Alia Bhatt made popuplar with her style in 2-States.

Our list of skirts in fashion cannot be complete without mentioning the style diva Sonam Kapoor. She wears every outfit with such elan! I loved her midi-skirt worn in the movie Mausam.

Midi-skirts are great for any body shape. With tiny prints over a pastel base they look very pretty and feminine. If you are on the heavier side then keep it plain in a solid dark color like this one from The Vanca. Its comfortable to wear and can be teamed with a nice floral printed top.

Another celebrity who wears some great looking skirts is Kate Middleton. Sometimes printed, sometime plain but never over-the-top; Kate's dressing style is talked whenever we talk of fashionable celebrities. I spotted this lovely skirt she wore with a lace ending hem.
