Ever since I started using the SeaSoul Moroccan Liquid Gold I love straightening my hair. I already own two hair straightners that I had been using until I landed up with this one. It is called the Selfie Straightener and for a reason.
Philips Selfie Straightener is a sleek device that you can easily hold with one hand and straighten your hair without anybody's help. I will first give you the details about this device before I tell you why this has become my weekly aide to sleek straight hair.

The straightner comes with a power switch hidden between the two arms of the straightener. It has two ceramic plates which are about 1 inch wide. The plates are pink in color while the rest of the device is a matte black. The straightner fits easily in one hand and pressing down the clamp is very easy.

To straighten the hair you just need to take small sections of hair. Take a section, starting at the roots press down the hair between the ceramic plates and gently move the straightener down the length of your hair. When I have applied the Moroccan Liquid Gold a single swipe is enough otherwise two or three times over the same section makes it perfectly straight.

The reason Philips Selfie Straightener has become my goto device for hair straightening is because it is super easy to use. The device heats up within 30-40 seconds and reaches an ideal temperature. Hair straightening now takes me half the time it used to take. This means each time I wash my hair I have the option to straighten it out. I personally feel straight hair makes me look years younger than my otherwise unruly wavy hair.
