Oriflame TheOne Long Wear Nail Polish Swatches And Review

I am so excited to share with you 5 gorgeous nail polish shades from Oriflame TheOne Long Wear Nail Polish collection.
The polishes come in sleek packaging with the cap having a tapered top and The One logo.

The polishes are creamy in texture, have a very glossy finish, are nicely pigmented and have no odor. The polishes go opaque in two coats. The applicator brush is a wide flat brush which gives a streak free application.

I am totally awed by the glossiness of these polishes. The shades that I have are (from left to right)
  1. Ballerina Rose - a peachy shade perfect for summers
  2. Strawberry Cream - the pink you always wanted - reminds me of strawberry ice-cream.
  3. Ruby Rouge - a deep red shade - the kind that makes your nails look perfect for a black dress party
  4. Cappuccino - this is a gorgeous milky coffee brown shade. If you are looking for a shade that you can wear to work then do check this out.
  5. Purple In Paris - a deep burgundy purple shade - a shade that will look pretty on you no matter what your skin shade is.

These polishes work great for water marble nail arts which is a great plus point for nail art lovers. Water marbling is by far the toughest technique I have known so far, if it doesn't work, it just doesn't work. So when these polishes worked for water marble nail art I was ecstatic. Here is a little something I did using Strawberry Cream and Purple In Paris. I am not wearing any top coat in the picture below - you can see how glossy the nails look.

Price: Rs 299 (buy Oriflame TheOne Nail Polish)

Totally recommended!

I also got the Crystal Base & Top coat which you can see in the first picture. This is a fast drying base and top coat. It comes with a thick applicator brush and is almost similar to KB Shimmer Quick Dry Top Coat in consistency. It makes your nails shine and helps the polish last longer.

Compared to the KB Shimmer Quick Dry Top Coat, it does take a few seconds longer to dry but it does not make the polish chip at all (more on KB Shimmer in a separate post).

With nail art you have to be a little careful, don't apply the Crystal top coat immediately after stamping as it may cause slight smudging of the design.

The Crystal Base & Top Coat is available online and is priced at Rs 279.

  6. These shades are definitely more of my taste as I wear dark colors in winter and lighter colors in summer. The colours are not intense rather soft and beautiful.
