I am sharing with you the Philips Satinelle Essential Epilator BRE201. This epilator is a dry model and comes with 5 attachments. At the end I am also sharing some tips that will make epilation easy and pain free. I have over 10 years of epilation experience and also got interviewed on epilatorcentral.com recently. The epilator is very compact and easy to hold. It gives you a good grip in your hands. There are two heads, the epilation head and shaver head. The shaver head comes with a plastic cap that makes it easier to store and take for travel. The epilator head has a plastic cap that closes off most of the epilation head while leaving a part in the centre open. If you are scared of using an epilation fear not, follow these basic tips to ensure you get the maximum benefit and minimum pain.

1. Exfoliate your skin with a loofah or body scrub 24-48hrs before epilation.
2. Wash and dry your skin well before you begin. When hair is wet at the roots it comes out easily and causes less pain.
3. If you have very senstitive skin apply lots of ice to your skin, you can use an ice pack to cool the area that you are epilating. 
4. Do not apply perfumes or any other alcohol based product immediately after epilation - wash with plain water and once skin dries you can apply a very light moisturiser.
5. When epilating for the first time do it on your legs, skin on the legs is less irritable and since legs have more surface area it will be easier for you to practise on.
6. When epilating under arms make sure the skin is clean and dry, sit in a cool and comfortable place. Then stretch your arm up, bend it backwards at the elbow as if you are trying to reach your back. When the under arm area is perfectly stretched then epilate using the sensitive cap.
7. When epilating ensure that the skin is well stretched and always keep the epilator at a 90 degree angle. DO NOT press the epilator on the skin, let it glide along as it pulls out the hair.
