Nature’s Co has some really nice products and the next one on my list of trials is their Hibiscus Anti-Dandruff Hair Cleanser. I got a small sample along with their Grapefruit Sugar Body Scrub that I had reviewed earlier.
Mine came in a tiny little bottle (original packaging will be different). First lets see what the company claims about this gem.
“Rejuvenate, heal and nourish your hair with Hibiscus extracts. They restore your hairs natural barrier stimulating growth and leaving it dandruff-free and silky smooth. Furthermore, it prevents split ends forming, strengthens roots and acts as an anti-dandruff agent. Apply a small amount and gently massage into the hair and scalp area. Rinse with warm water and repeat if necessary. Because it is natural and gentle, it may be used daily.”
On the left is a picture of the little sample bottle I got. On the right is the original packaging (picture taken from company website)

The sample came in a 15ml bottle – original packaging is 250ml so as you can see pictures are not to scale.
Now for the texture – the shampoo is not too thick in texture and is runny like most shampoos that are made from natural ingredients.
It has a herbal fragrance which is not bothering and does not last too long so even if you don’t like fragrance in your shampoo this should still be fine. I need to use a good amount of shampoo for my long hair (My hair is almost till my waist) but despite the hard water in my area it lathered quite well. I do not oil my hair so I think if you oil your hair before shampooing you might need slightly more shampoo than your usual thick Matrix like shampoo variants.
In the swatches below you should get an idea about the consistency of this shampoo.

Now for the experience – my hair became super soft – just like they show in baby shampoo advertisements. Yes it felt so light and soft and I did not need a conditioner when I used this.
Since I only have a sample bottle I cannot really comment about split ends. But after three washes with this cleanser I did not notice any extra hair-fall. And my head is clear – I usually get traces of dandruff after two days of shampoo but with this I did not notice any dandruff at all.
