Nail paints are available in so many varied hues, from soft nudes, bright neon to deep blues and purples. But the one color that stole the show this year in 2012 is the hot RED!
From the girl next door, the lady across the seat on the metro to our very dear celebrities, everyone and anyone who likes to paint their nails has sported the color Red this year. And the Red is abundant in different shade variations, soft reds, bright reds, coral reds or deep dark reds bordering on the maroon side. Finishes also vary from matte, glossy to glittery!
Everyone has their choice and can sport this color in one variation or the other.
Fashionistas had predicted Red to be the color of Spring 2012 but this trend has continued through summer and is likely to go well into the winters making our dull lives bright and colorful.
A lot of fashion shows saw shades of red being sported by models.

Red has also been popular in nail art such as the fashionable French red tips as sported by Donna Karan.

For fall 2012 the prediction is that colors will take a darker turn. So I am guessing we will see more of red but in its darker variants such as deep red and maroon.
And now lets take a look at some celebrities sporting the red nails.

Back home in Bollywood my favourite Rani Mukherjee also sported red nails at some award show.

And of course who can forget Sonam Kapoor at Cannes. Sporting a Cinderella outfit in red with matching red nails!

Girl you gotta put red on your nails! Just kidding... I occasionally wear red and the post was mainly inspired by my first bloggers meet where so many people were wearing red (even on my way to the meet I saw red nails everywhere!)
