TVAM Lavender Ylang Ylang Sunscreen Review

Sunscreens don't suit my facial skin and always cause me to break out. That is why I limit the use of sunscreens only to my arms and feet. Today I am going to review a sunscreen that is non-sticky and gives a very fresh feeling.

What the company claims

"Lavender & Ylang-Ylang Sunscreen Lotion with a sun protection factor (SPF) of 15 shields and protects your skin from UVA/UVB/Infrared rays, which may contribute to skin damage and premature aging. Exposure to sun can lead to serious sunburns, wrinkles and pigmentation. Thus, this lotion is ultra effective if used liberally before stepping out in the Sun as it prevents sunburns, keeping skin soft and smooth too. The powerful natural extracts help to protect, soothe and hydrate the skin."

Product

The product comes in a bottle with a screw cap. The sunscreen is a white coloured liquid. Consistency is like a moisturiser and very light weight. There is a faint fragrance, something mildly floral (I think the lavender) but difficult to explain.

It contains the following ingredients "Lavender Oil, Ylang-Ylang Oil, Aloe Vera, Carrot Seed Oil, Apple, Wheat Germ Oil & Base Q.S."

My Experience

The Tvam Ylang Ylang sunscreen is very light weight to touch. It is non greasy and smooths out easily on the skin. Since I have had horrible sunscreen experiences in the past I did not dare to use it on my face. But on my arms it feels very nice. I do not need an extra moisturiser on top of this (I have oily skin) during the summers. I had my mom (who has dry skin) try this out for me and it worked for her. (I really do want to give it a shot on my face but currently I have a few breakouts so I'll try this one they subside.)

I do not go out in the sun for more than 40 minutes (travelling in car) but my arms do tend to get tanned from the sun exposure. While using this sunscreen I have noticed my arms tanning less. I also use this on my feet so that I don't get sandal marks on my feet and it has so far worked.
