Laviol Bearberry Brightening Moisturizer

Laviol is an Australian brand which offers all natural products. I had earlier reviewed their Rose Otto Hydrosol Spray which you can read about HERE.

Today I am reviewing their Bearberry Brightening Moisturizer. I have mentioned many times that moisturizers are a complete no-no for my oily skin. Yet when I received this cute little packing I really wanted to give it a shot.

Product

The moisturizer comes in a little bottle with a pump dispenser. There is a transparent cap that covers the dispenser. The moisturizer is thin in consistency though not runny. It is lightweight and smells very fresh. The fragrance is not over powering and is very gentle.

My Experience

After reading about the product I was really tempted to try it out. The texture of this moisturizer is very light and spreads almost like you have nothing on. But if I use it during the day after about an hour I have a slight greasy feeling which I don’t like. So after using this during the day I switched to only night time usage.
It keeps my skin hydrated and does not break me out (my skin is prone to acne). In the morning my face feels brighter.

But I did not notice any drastic improvement in my skin after a month of usage. The acne scars haven’t faded at all but overall I like the brightness I see in the morning even though it is temporary.

Overall I would say this is a good organic moisturizer that will suit you if you don’t have very oily skin. If you don’t have too many skin issues this can become your go to light weight moisturizer.
