Soft lips with a natural rose brown color - exactly what I needed. I am too shy to don a bright red or coral on my lips. Even darker shades make me feel a bit uncomfortable unless its a wedding that I need to attend. So I keep hunting for soft natural looking colors, something to give my face a gentle lift without making me too concious of what I have on my lips. I found one such shade in the Lotus Herbals Pure Color lipsticks range - Rose Wood (641)

Lotus Herbals Pure Color Lipsticks come in a shimmery beige packing with Lotus Herbals logo in gold. The lipsticks are smooth and creamy in texture and have a decent staying power.
My Experience
Shade: I love this shade, its a soft brown shade with a very slight pink undertone, absolutely natural looking. On very fair skin this will appear more brown but on my wheatish skin it gives a very natural look.
Texture: I really like the smooth creamy texture of the lipstick. It does not settle into the fine lines of the lips and gives a nice smooth appearance. After an hour it does become less smooth and in winters when I'm drinking less water I feel the need to smother my lips with a little balm on top of this lipstick.
Fragrance: There is no fragrance which is great for a lot of people (I don't mind having fruity flavored lip products)
Staying power: The staying power is decent, 2-3 hours without food and it will withstand a cup of coffee. After a full meal though there is no trace of this lipstick left on my lips.
Price: Priced at Rs 245 this is a great lip product for its rich creamy texture and decent staying power.

Overall I would surely recommend this lipstick and I would myself like to try out other shades from this range. I need to look for a daily wear natural plum shade - any suggestions?
