This is a quick review of the Universal shade blush that I got in my February vellvete box - its a lovely blush from Purely Pro cosmetics.

The texture of the blush is very soft, smooth, and non-gritty. It is fragrance free. Pigmentation is light so you need at least 4 swipes of the blush to show some color on your cheeks if you have a medium complexion like mine. If you are fair it might show up in 2 swipes. Staying power of the blush on its own is decent - its lasts for around 4 hours during the still cooler weather. In summers I'm not sure if it will last too long but if you are in the air-conditioned room then it would last for 4 hours in summers too.
The shade Universal is lovely light pink with hints of shimmer. The color is beautiful to bring that natural glow to the face during the day. You can build up the color for an evening application.
This blush is great for day wear. I love the fact that it gives a very gentle pink glow to the face.

The blush comes in a small round packaging silver in color, nothing special but makes it look chic. It has a screw top and I would have loved it had the lid been attached - that ways its easier to use when on the go.
