Number 48 is a lovely pink color. It looks much deeper in the pan that it does on the lips.

The satin finish and lovely fragrance makes me slather this on like there is no tomorrow. But too much of the product and the pink becomes too bright for my wheatish skin tone. A single coat is good to cover pigmentation and looks lovely.

The swatch on the finger is again dark just like the pan but when I use this on my lips with a lip brush the shade is a very neutral pink with no blue undertones. It looks natural just like the lips of the girl in the magazine in the first picture.

The staying power, texture and price are all same as the shade #41 that I reviewed HERE

This lipstick reminds me of my L'oreal Blushing Berry lipstick but is two shades lighter than that and hence more appropriate for office wear.

I think this shade would look lovely on all skin tones. You can increase or decrease the depth of the shade by controlling how much product you put on your lips!
