Vedic Line+ SunProctor SPF 30 - Review

Summers are here at their harshest best. This is the time when a good sunscreen becomes important. I recently got the Vedic Line+ SunProctor for my daily sun protection needs. This is a PARABEN free product with a host of natural ingredients.

Vedic Line+ SunProctor - Packaging & Price

I like the name given to this sunscreen - a sun protector. The sunscreen comes in a travel friendly tube which is a gorgeous orange in color. It has a flip cap that shuts nicely and is safe to carry in your purse.

The Vedic Line+ SunProctor has an SPF of 30 and protects against both UVA and UVB rays. The company claims that it protects for a good nine hours. I usually don't stay in the sun that long so I cannot say much about that claim. The instructions on the back do suggest you apply it 2-3 times a day as required. It is usually recommended that you reapply your sunscreen after every 4 hours to ensure maximum protection from the UV rays.

Vedic Line+ SunProctor - Texture & My Experience

The sunscreen is a white colored cream which is neither runny nor thick and oily. It smooths out easily on the skin almost like a lotion. It has a very nice refreshing fragrance which is a mix of floral, citrus and a very tiny hint of musk. The fragrance lingers on gently throughout the day. I love floral fragrances and hence for me this is a plus point.

The sunscreen is light weight, non-greasy and does not cause sweat at all. It is moisturizing so I do not need an extra moisturizer underneath this.

I apply this in the morning when I am going out to work. SPF 30 is more than enough for my daily sun protection as I am in the sun for only about 25 minutes that too not directly but while in the car. This sunscreen is great for daily use but you will need a higher SPF factor if you are off to the beach (there you should opt for SPF 50 and above)

Now coming to the cons - this sunscreen causes me breakouts if I use this on my face. Yes unfortunately I am one of those people who can never use a sunscreen on my face and hence I opt for BB creams or foundations that have inbuilt UVA & UVB protection. So if you are acne prone then skip this on your face.

I am using this for my arms, hands and feet and enjoying the lovely fragrance throughout the day.

So who is your sun doctor this summers?
