Today's post is about a lovely blush that I recently got to try out. This is the Tips n Toes Dual Blush which is basically a blush and highlighter duo.

The dual blush comes packed in the shiny silver casing which I really like. The only drawback is the fingerprints that get imprinted on the casing which need to be cleaned off each time I use this.
The outer cover box contains instructions on how to use the product but the ingredient list is missing.

The silver casing opens up to a lovely inner with a large mirror, the blush, highlighter and a soft application brush.

The blush and highlighter are of the same texture. The blush is
very smooth and fine with hints of glitter. The glitter is
non-gritty There is
no fragrance in the product.
The small brush provided with the blushes is very soft in to feel but does not feel as soft on the face. But if you have to use this during travel you can make do with it, its not that bad at all. Just that it feels way too soft in the hands as compared to the face!

Coming to the colors. The blush is a
deep mauve pink in color while the highlighter is a
softer pink with a coral base. Both colors are absolutely perfect for Indian/Asian skin tones. For fairer skin tones both colors can actually be used as a blush since the softer pink will also show up more prominently.

After blending the colors look so natural and soft on the skin. In the FOTD you can see I have applied the blush and highlighter together and blended them out. The appearance is very natural on my wheatish skin tone. The colors are build-able so you can apply a bit more of the pinker blush for transforming this to a night time look.

As always I've used the blush on my eye lids as well just to get the same natural skin sort of look with the blush (yeah on my lips too to create a custom color like I mentioned
HERE).

The staying power of the blush is decent - in an airconditioned room it stays on for a good 3 hours without any primer underneath. After that it starts to fade away evenly.
If you are looking for a budget blush or if this is your first blush purchase I would definitely suggest this blush duo as it is super easy to use with the brush provided with it, its travel friendly, and you get two colors which you can blend for a day look as well as night time look - all for the price of Rs 295.
I have this too in the shade Autumn and really liked the colors with very fine shimmers. It is definitely a budget and great buy!
