Recently I got the opportunity to try the newly launched Avon Totally Kissable lipstick in shade Loving Lilac - N103.
The product was sent by the brand in such a cute pink paper bag along with the latest catalog of their products. The lipstick came packed in a black box with details written in white. The lipstick itself comes in a silver bullet packaging. Unfortunately all pictures that I took came out blurred and I haven't had a chance to retake them. Apologies for the same!
What the company claims: "Full-coverage conditioning color infused with fruit enzymes and a blend of natural oils for lips that are visibly fuller, softer and smoother"
The lipstick has Avon written embedded on its stick and I really like this. Remember how I love L'oreal lipsticks for the way they put their name on the lipstick bullet.
I love how smooth this lipstick feels on my lips, it feels almost like a balm and yet gives quite good pigmentation. It does not hide all my lip pigmentation but I am ready to ignore that simply because I love the way it makes my lips feel. They stay moisturized and feel really smooth until the entire lipstick gets licked away from your lips. It also boasts of having SPF 15.
Texture: super smooth, balm like
Fragrance: pleasant (hint of vanilla)
Pigmenation: medium - does not hide all lip discoloration
Staying Power: 2 hours without food - I would have loved to have more staying power because I don't like reapplying lipstick through the day
Price: Rs 429 (3.8gm)
The shade loving lilac is a gorgeous shade that will suit all skin tones. You can swipe it gently to just get a lip balm effect and you can layer it to get the proper shade as well. I would love to try more shades from this range - totally loving the texture! There are many shades to chose from in the range.
I would love to try Lovey Dovey - even the name is so cute :)
