I had won a small contest by Vellvette because of which I was sent the sample pack of Shiseido White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum+
Shiseido is a very high end brand and I was happy to try this out.
About Shiseido White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum+
"A super brightening serum created to diminish stubborn dark spots in 10 days and prevent future pigmentation from appearing. Formulated with smoothing and re-texturizing ingredients to enhance clarity and radiance for flawless, perfectly even-toned skin.
Developed with advanced Shiseido Multi-Action Brightening System+, targeting all types of hyper-pigmentation and their causes: dark spots, age spots, acne scars and uneven skin tones.
Contains ME Complex (Yomogi Extract and Angelica Root Extract) to accelerate cell turnover and diminish and eliminate melanin pigment."
The Shiseido White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum+ came in small travel bottle made of plastic. It had a pump dispenser so it was perfect for travelling. There was no noticeable fragrance, the texture was light weight and sinked into the skin immediately. This bottle containing about 9ml of the product lasted me for just a little over 10 days - I used it both morning and night after cleaning my face. I did feel my skin becoming slightly clearer - only very faint acne scars were going away but overall I did not feel like I was using a high end brand.
Right now I am not repurchasing this simply because I do not feel it justifies its cost. It comes at a price of $125 for 30 ml which is around Rs 3750. I am sure I can find something better in this price range and I am glad I tried out the sample before making such a purchase.
Now I did some search on the web and found that some people have found that this has worked for them over longer periods of time. I think I would retry this if I can get hold of more sample bottles and purchase it only if it works after longer usage. If you do get to try a sample pack then try it out - you will know if it works for your skin or not.
