This post is another review but this time I'm not reviewing another product - this is a review of a beauty blog that started about 4 years ago and I'm sure most of you have already visited this blog at-least once in the past 4 years.
I am talking about The Indian Makeup And Beauty Blog - well known as IMBB. When I was asked by Sanjeev (co-owner of this blog) to share my thoughts about the blog I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I was the first email subscriber of IMBB!
I still remember those days when I had stumbled upon a blog where the girl behind the posts, Rati, would meticulously review one product every day or share a makeup post. So I subscribed to get my fill of beauty every morning in my mail box. Later I started noticing the content increasing to more posts until one day, even before I could take a breather, there were about 10 posts in a day! Yes, Rati and Sanjeev grew the blog into a community where there were many bloggers writing for them.
My favorite posts on IMBB remain the ones written by Rati for the sole reason that the pictures are awesome (I think credit for that goes to Sanjeev too). One section - the Look Book - will keep you hooked for sure!
My current favorite on the blog is the swatch section. This is a great stop before you make any online makeup purchase. On the right hand side bar you will see the whole selection of swatches.
And one thing, the only thing I feel can be improved is the posts by guest bloggers where the images are not sharp and well taken. They simply stand out and it seems I'm reading another blog instead of IMBB.
IMBB is an inspiration for many. Although I started blogging as a hobby I simply bow down to the effort Rati and Sanjeev along with their team has put together to make IMBB a well known name.
I am sure a lot of you will be inspired by IMBB and some of you might be envious of its success. But whatever be our reasons I hope that someday our efforts also bring as much success as IMBB. Amen!
