I recently shopped from a site called India Circus. When I came across the site the first thing that attracted me was the quirky designs on a lot of pieces but while I was browsing I fell for these gorgeous white peacocks painted in a royal Mughal style.

This is actually the painting done on a tray that I purchased. One look at this design and I just knew I had to have it.

Now coming to my favorite part - let's take a look at the two products I got my self. Both of them have the white peacocks (I told you I couldn't take my eyes off these gorgeous birds!)

The one one the left is a wooden serving tray - they had it in 3 sizes and I got the small one. This belongs to the Kuheli collection which is described as "Kuheli pays homage to various traditional Indian arts and crafts. The designs feature graceful peacocks from the forest, as well mesmerizingly abstract visuals. Kuheli is dynamic in its color palette and detailed in its intricate referentiality, wherein lies the collection's individuality. The designs appeal to those seeking rich visuals that have a delicate history behind them."

On the right is a sling bag - yes I can now carry this masterpiece wherever I go - super chic and fashionable! This belongs to the Neo-Nawab collection which is described as "Neo-Nawab resurrects India's golden dynasty and brings to you an enigmatic collection replete with strong Indian motifs. The collection references various emblems of the pre-historic era , such as its world renown intricate architecture, as well as it's unapologetic opulence. The collection's bright and vibrant luxury is tamed by its regal and sophisticated royal etiquette with abundance of glorious India."

The tray is called 'Begums Secret Tray' and the bag is called the 'Begum's Secret Sling Back' - love it!

I loved the products and the packaging - everything came in a big cardboard box with such a lovely print - if you are following me on instagram you must have seen the pic of the beautiful box (yes I'm keeping this box to store something, I just can't throw it away!) The products were bubble wrapped with a big thick bubble sheet so that there was absolutely no chance of damage.

The only thing that I feel should be improved for the website is a more detailed description of the products - what material is used, exact size measurement for bags and accessories etc. The images can be misleading in terms of the base material quality - like the bag I got never said 'canvas' anywhere but it is made of canvas. I totally agree that the paintings are awesome but I feel a clear description would help in setting the right expectations.
