Unboxing My Envy Box - October 2014 Anniversary Edition

First of all let me congratulate the team behind My Envy Box for a successful year! October is the Anniversary of My Envy Box and this month's box has been curated by Vogue India. The box spells luxury right from the packaging. October's My Envy Box is a lovely golden box.

This time the products inside are all skin/hair care related and there are a couple of extras that we'll see one by one. Instead of the usual 4-5 samples the anniversary special box contains a total of 7 products. These products are also winners of the Vogue Beauty Awards and are truly handpicked by the experts!

Starting from top left going around in a clockwise direction -
1. Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover (Price: Rs. 1950 for 125mL - sample size 5mL)
This is a generous sized sample and I am quite excited to try this one out.

2. Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief (Price: Rs 3550 for 50ml - sample size 1.5ml)
Clinique Moisture Surge is an oil-free moisturiser that is said to work for all skin types. Since this is a small sample I am going to use it up during the Diwali break (yes no office for 2 days followed by a weekend!)

3. Sebastian Professional Potion 9 (Price: Rs 1450 for 150ml - sample 10ml)
This is a sachet of a hair serum - I have not used any products from this brand before and actually detest using serums out of sachets I am planning to tip it into a small pot and then use it. This is not a one time use sachet and I don't want to waste the product. Lets see how my  hair reacts to this one.

4. Tatouage Ephemere Temporary Tattoo
This is a temporary tattoo created by Annelise Toraille. I got one strip of this cute leaf pattern. I am not a tattoo person but I love the way the model has worn these. Will use it soon (how about trying this on my nails?)

5. SkinYoga Sandalwood Saffron face mask (Price: Rs 1395 for 50gm - sample size approx 6gm)
The SkinYoga sandalwood saffron mask sample came in a cute little bottle. This is how I like my samples. Planning to use it tonight. Sandalwood and saffron are both excellent for the skin.

6. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum (Price: Rs 5200 for 30ml - sample size 3ml)
I really like the sample sachet of this night repair serum. Its a sachet but looks like a bottle and you can twist out the top part like a cap to dispense a small amount as needed and also store the remaining product for the second use. I think this sample will give two uses.
Along with this serum there is a special scratch card in the box which entitles you to a quick learning session at the Estee Lauder counter and a sample as well.

7. Innisfree Green Tea Sheet Mask (Price: Rs 100, full size sample)
I have a couple of Innisfree samples that I still need to try out. I think with this sheet mask I might have my self a sample set to have an at home little facial session. Always love full sized samples so yay!

The My Envy Box comes at a price of Rs 850 per month. You can check out previous month boxes and read their reviews to know more about the type of products I've seen so far. September, August, July, June, May

Along with this the box also contains a coupon worth Rs 1000 that can be used at any of the participating L’Occitane Spa outlets. I'm not sure I'll be using this one so in case you are interested leave a comment - let me see if I can get this across to someone who might be able to use it!
