Review and Swatch: Living Nature Lipstick - Summer Rain

I reviewed a lip pencil from Living Nature a few day back - the shade was Laughter. Today I am sharing a lipstick from Living Nature called Summer Rain

Living Nature lipsticks are made using natural pigments and waxes that help nourish the lips while giving them a good color. I really like the way they name their products. Living Nature lipsticks come in a matte black packaging.

See the packaging in the picture above - it says smile - if you remember the lip pencil Laughter said 'focus' - perfect words to describe the products.

Summer Rain is an intense true pink lipstick. It goes on opaque in a single coat and covers all pigmentation on the lips. The lipstick is smooth but I would advise you to use a base coat or some moisturizing balm on your lips before you apply this lipstick as it tends to get drying through the day. If you a have lip primer then the smoothness is maintained. I use this over my Living Nature lip primer which I will review soon.

The lipstick survives a meal, fading a bit, and with no food it lasts a good 4 hours.

I wore this lipstick in my Karva Chauth FOTD picture. You can head over to instagram to see it in case you missed it.

Price: $40 (NZD) - approx $32 (USD) and Rs 2000

I would rate this lipstick a 4/5 - I love the shade and enjoy wearing a product that is natural in its ingredients. This is my go-to pink lipstick these days. What lipstick do you wear when you feel like wearing pink?
