In life you can be inspired by a lot of things. You can be inspired by a person to write a book, you can be inspired by some music to compose your own dance steps, and you can be inspired by the smile of a child to create a new melody. Sometimes you look at a painting and it inspires you to create your own theme for the decor in a room. At other times you might look at a piece of jewelry and your entire outfit gets created so that you can wear that piece of jewelry on a special occasion.

Today's post is all about my inspiration for an outfit. And lo and behold, I got inspired by a pair of shoes! When you take one look at this stunning pair of pumps from Clarks you will understand why! After all there is a reason why Marilyn Monroe once said "Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world!"

This is the Blissful Cloud in Coral Combi pair. The upper is a soft suede in coral while the heel is a shiny silver. The pair fits my feet like a glove and despite the 3 inch high heel it feels quite comfortable due to the cushioning inside.

As soon as I got this pair I pictured a lovely white dress, because the shoes have such a lovely color I wanted to keep all the color focus on my shoes. I will share later in the post, what I think, are stunning pictures of the shoes (I actually went a bit crazy clicking pictures, the color just popped out so well that I just went on and on!) But, let me first share with you two outfit ideas for styling with these shoes.

The first one is an outfit for a Sunday Brunch. When it comes to brunches I like to keep it mostly casual but a little flirty. So a dress or a skirt are perfect. Since I wanted a white outfit I actually combined a white tunic dress layered over a pale yellow skirt. The tunic dress is too short for me to wear on its own (and very sheer too!) and that yellow skirt is something I have owned for years now. Added a belt to give shape to the tunic which otherwise just hangs lose. 

And the shoes, well my Coral Combi added all the pizzazz that was required with this outfit. A bright orange lipstick and I was all set for my brunch.

And let's now say you are planning to travel someplace, you want cool comfortable clothes but as they say, good shoes take you places**! You can't go on any travel without styling yourself with a nice pair of shoes. I am short so even when I travel I prefer heels unless I'll be walking a lot. So if you are wondering how to incorporate these shoes for a Travel Style outfit here is just one idea.

I wore the same white tunic dress with a pair of printed trousers (from StalkBuyLove.com). Since the dress is of a very soft and thin fabric it easily gets tucked in without adding weight. Hair is now tied up in a neat ponytail for a no mess look. I donned my favorite pair of sunglasses and lovely coral heels to complete the look. As you can see the color added by the heels just adds so much fun to a monochrome outfit 

You can always replace the patterned lose pants with a pair of denims and you will still look rocking thanks to the bright suede shoes!

Under bright sunlight these shoes appear a darker coral - all the more better as your outfit doesn't get lost in the sunshine!
