A father son relationship is always special. Father's take on all challenges to make sure their children are always safe, secure, and happy. This Father's Day I decided to do something different. I tried to capture some candid moments between a father and son. I coaxed my brother to agree to this so that we could have some fun with dad and make him do something he would otherwise never agree to.
So I became the 'candid' photographer of the day and we went clickety-click. My brother has dabbled a bit in the modelling world and was super comfortable with the shots but the fun part was seeing dad having so much fun. I told him this was for my blog so he agreed as he is always very enthusiastic about everything that I do.
Firstly I chose a pair of shirts and some shoes for both of them. I sourced these from a new brand that has forayed into the world of men's fashion - The G Street. They have super affordable shirts which are stylish and trendy while the fabric is fine cotton that is perfect for summers. The clothes are versatile enough to work for the office going man as well as for the cool dudes partying the night away.
My dad looks dapper in a dark blue shirt with checkered cuffs and collar while my brother is ready to party out in his mehroon shirt with the blue detailing. Again this shirt style is a first for my dad. He wears very conservative clothes but was happy to try this little detailing as it did not look over-the-top while gave him the styling he likes.
For footwear I chose blue suede leather shoes for my brother and a sober looking pair of black formal shoes for my dad.
I had great fun shooting with my brother and father. I asked them to just do their thing while I went on clicking. Here are some of the shots I really liked.
My dad's now ready for another shoot as he was quick to ask when am I planning the next one. It would be great fun for sure.
