Maybelline New York Rebel Bouquet Lipsticks REB02 and REB05 - Review, Swatch

This summer girls in India are rejoicing with so many lipsticks out there to perk up their mood. Maybelline India launched their Rebel Bouquet range of lipsticks to add to the excitement.

Rebel Bouquet Collection is the Spring Summer collection of 2015. The lipsticks are a bold take on pastels that summers are associated with.

The collection consists of 6 shades numbered REB01 to REB06. The lipsticks are bright and highly pigmented to give a rich color. They boast of a color bloom technology using honey nectar.

The packaging is a translucent red cap over a silver bodied lipstick. The outer plastic cover actually has the lovely floral REBEL print (this is another great inspiration for some nail art!)

The texture of the lipsticks is absolutely creamy but it settles down to a semi-matte finish. Lips don't feel dry or weighed down. Even after layering it does not add weight to the lips.

The lipsticks are super long lasting. Yes even on my lips! I wore this out one day, was out for a good 6 hours, had drinks and proper Indian food, yet when I came back home it still looked like I had applied lipstick. It doesn't look as fresh as it does when you apply it but the stain is strong enough to cover the lips even when you've eaten up all the lipstick with your food. For me these are now an absolute must! I hope they come out with other neutral shades so that I can use one for office - Maybelline New York - are you taking shade requests?

REB02 is a gorgeous bright poppy pink shade.
REB05 is a deep orange shade hinting towards red.

Both shades instantly perk up  your face and will surely make your lips do the talking!
