Hi friends, I'm still a bit unwell to get back to full time blogging hence the delay in my posts. Today since I'm posting after a long gap I thought I'll share a unique product I came across a few months back. This is the Vera Mona Color Switch - its a unique brush cleaning system.

The creator of this unique product was actually frustrated with using multiple brushes for eye shadow application. Each time she wanted to switch the color on the brush she would have to go clean her brush or use a separate brush for each color. Hence the name 'Color Switch'.

Color Switch Solo and Duo are basically special sponges that come encased in this cute metallic circular box. You open the lid and find a single black sponge inside Vera Mona Color Switch Solo. And inside the Color Switch Duo you will find an additional white colored sponge right in the center.

All you have to do when applying makeup is to stroke your brush against the sponge to completely remove the makeup product and then switch to the next color without any product transfer. The Color Switch sponges can be used on either side and you can easily clean them by washing with some soap and water. Refill packs are also available for quick replacement.

The Color Switch Duo works on the same concept. The need for a Duo arises when you have a wet brush as well. So you can soak the center part in water (or maybe even makeup fixing agent) and use this to dampen your brush for a wet makeup application.

I have even tried cleaning up my foundation brush for those lazy days when I don't have time to wash off the brush completely and it works just fine.

I think for people who don't have too many makeup brushes (or don't want to carry too many along) this cute brush cleaning system will come in very handy.
