Oriflame Lavender & Fig Hand Soak comes in a plastic bottle with a screw cap. There is a stopper on the bottle with a hole in it to dispense little product at a time.
To begin your manicure take some warm water (enough to dip your hands) and add a few drops of this hand soak. Stir the water to create some froth and dip your hands in the water for about 10 minutes. While your hands soak in the water the gentle lavender fragrance will help you relax.

Once you are done soaking your hands, gently wipe them off with a clean towel and then use a generous amount of the hand scrub to scrub all over your hands. Scrub around the nails as well as around the knuckles. The Lavender & Fig scrub is white in color and contains tiny particles that help scrub away dead skin cells. Massage your hands with the scrub for around 2-3 minutes and then rinse off.

The next step is to clean the cuticles. The Oriflame cuticle softner comes in a squeeze tube with a head that is shaped like a cuticle pusher. The product is a transparent gel like substance. Dispense a small amount on the cuticle area, massage it gently and let it sit for about 3 minutes. Then push away any skin using the cuticle gel tube head. If you have hard cuticles you will need to use a regular cuticle pusher as this tube head is a bit soft.

You can now shape your nails before heading off to the last step which is hand massage using the Lavender & Fig hand massage cream. The cream is thick and rich in oils that help keep the skin feeling soft and smooth. Massage your hands for a good 5 minutes or until the cream has vanished into your skin.

Having a manicure set like this makes the experience nice since all products work in sync with each other. The same fragrance throughout keeps you relaxed. The kit is going to last a long time specially the hand scrub and massage cream which come in large tubes.

I also tried the same kit for a pedicure and it works well (with an additional step of heel scrubbing with a pumice stone)

Overall I am quite satisfied with the Oriflame Lavender & Fig Manicure Set and would recommend it if you enjoy pampering yourself at home.

  1. Wow..seems worth buying. With my busy schedule I hardly get time for regular pedicure and manicure and this would completely solve the purpose. Thanks for reviewing it.

  3. Finally, massages help boost your immune system. It has been scientifically proven that after having a massage people have higher white blood cell counts. 부천 출장안마
