It only happens sometimes that you get surprised by a box of hair products.
Well this box that I'm talking about was just breathtaking in the way the packaging was done.

Garnier  has launched its range of Ultra Blends Shampoos and I was sent four of them boxed together. First let's look at the unboxing!

The box contained a lot of cards with the details of each shampoo, an elegant scroll with details about the Ultra Blends range, and an adorable pen drive shaped like an ultra blend shampoo bottle.

The range contains 5 different shampoos targeted towards different hair problems. The shampoos boast of natural ingredients and is said to be paraben free.

Each shampoo comes in a flip top cap and has a unique fragrance. The box I was sent contains the 100mL sized bottles but larger sizes are available.

Price: Rs 230 (340mL) [The bigger the packaging the more economical the shampoo turns out to be]

I was sent four of these five. Let's take a look at each one of the shampoos.

Royal Jelly and Lavender are meant to help reduce hairfall due to breakage. Royal Jelly & Lavender helps strengthen and reconstruct hair strands. The shampoo smells lovely with a faint hint of lavender. It lathers well. Its been a few days since I've used it and I love the softness it imparts to my hair. I noticed a very slight reduction in hair fall after the third wash. I will be using this for the next few washes as well and I hope it can control my hair fall (the current climate is running havoc on my hair)

Soy milk and almonds variant of the Ultra Blends is an intense repair shampoo for damaged hair. While soy milk gives the required protein, almonds help nourish the hair with essential Vitamin E. This variant is creamy white in color and smells amazing.

Ultra Blends nourishing shine shampoo contains the goodness of henna and blackberry. This one is meant for dull, dry and lifeless hair. Blackberries provide anti-oxidants and vitamin C while henna has been known for its nourishing properties. The shampoo is clear in color.

Ultra blends revitalising shampoo comes in a beautiful pista green bottle. It contains 5 precious herbs that help maintain healthy hair every day. Green tea simulated circulation, eucalyptus oil has healing properties and works on the scalp, lemon enhances shine, aloe vera provides moisture and henna provides the necessary conditioning.

There is a fifth variant call Ultra Blends Deep Nourishing shampoo which boasts of olive oil to fight frizz for under nourished hair.

Here are swatches of the four shampoos. Three of these are creamy while the nourishing shine shampoo is transparent with a gel like consistency.

I have almost finished my bottle of the royal jelly variant and I am super happy with the shampoo. It hasn't cured all my hair fall but the amount of softness the shampoo imparts is amazing.
