Hi friends! Today's post is about a recent surprise I gave my husband (okay so when I started this post it was a recent surprise but I never got down to publishing it, so well, its over 2 week now).
We have a large wall in our bedroom against which we have our TV and rest of the wall is bare.
We had also been on a few trips in India last year and hadn't developed any of the photo prints. So, when browsing for Valentine's options when I came across an online website which did custom sized canvas prints I decided to give it a try.
I went through the options available and narrowed down on a thin wrap canvas print which is basically a stretched canvas framed on a thin wooden frame. This comes in a ready to hang state which was perfect for me.
So I dug up one pic in which both of us seemed to be enjoying ourselves and placed an order for a canvas of size 30x20 inches.
On the website you can upload the photo and see how it will appear on the canvas. When printing on larger sizes make sure the photo resolution is high. Mine was over 5000 pixels and resulted in a lovely print.
The shipping was done in 5 days. With regular shipping (free if order total is over Rs 250) the order can take anywhere between 4 to 10 days depending on which printing location the order is sent to.
The canvas came wrapped so well, it was secured very well. I just saw they have a promotion going on where they are giving 30% off on the canvas prints. And, they are also giving free shipping so this is really a good time to visit their website www.canvaschamp.in and place your orders. Make sure you register on the website before making your purchase. It's easier to track orders and you also earn points if you are registered. These points can later be used for redemption on the website.
My friends are already planning on ordering from them after seeing mine.
Overall I think I managed to surprise my husband with something he liked. I think canvas prints are great gifting options for any occasion.
What do you like as a good gifting option?

The lighting in this room is not perfect to show you how it looks but here's a closeup of another canvas I got done from the same place - just to show you the quality of the print.
