Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Ribbon Nail Art

October is the month of Breast Cancer awareness. This month we unite with only one motto in mind - to spread awareness about breast cancer - to spread the message that early detection can save lives. There are many women out there who have lost their life to this disease. But, there are others who have survived - and the difference is in the awareness they had. So let us join hands in spreading the message of early checkups and regular examinations to prevent this disease.

My little attempt in spreading this awareness is through a mani I did with the symbol of the pink ribbon - Pink Ribbon is a symbol of breast cancer awareness.

Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Ribbon Nail Art

For this mani I used Innisfree polish #2 (reviewed HERE) as the base. I stamped white hearts on all the nails using GE white polish. On the accent finger I used Sally Hansen Confetti Punch 05.

To make the ribbon all you need is any polish of your choice and a soft plastic sheet.

This time around I am trying the French Nail art stickers - these are again from N.Nails. They come in the same cute pink packaging and the stickers are on a thin plastic sheet.

The process of applying the stickers is very simple, peel off the design from the plastic sheet and carefully place it on your nail, press it firmly and you are done. In case the pattern is a little bigger for your nails you can trim it off.

The texture of these nail stickers is like a very thin piece of rubber and after application they smooth out to give the feel of satin smooth nail paint. A friend actually asked which nail paints I had used to create the nail art :)

The stickers require a top coat else they might peel off when they scrape against something. With a top coat the sticker will last about 4 days - without a top coat it all depends on how much you use your hands!

Glow In The Dark 3D Nail Art Sticker Review & NOTD

Yes yes you read it right - I did get my self some nail art stickers, glow-in-the-dark kind. And the fun part is that I had completely forgotten that these are glow-in-the-dark, so I was admiring my nail art at night just before dozing off when Mr Husband turned off the lights and I almost screamed at my own nails. No no they don't look scary at all its just that they took me completely by surprise!

So here you go, take a look at my nail art and enjoy. I love the way this nail art turned out - all soft pink and romantic.
