Inglot Freedom System Round Lipstick Refill #41 - Review & Swatches

Inglot Freedom System allows you to sample all Inglot products in small sample sizes available in the form of refills that you can use to create your own custom color palettes.

I recently purchased 4 lip colors and this one is the first one I'll be sharing. The color is numbered 41.  The pictures of the refills are taken in natural light as well as sunlight to give you an idea of how the shade looks. The actual in person color is the same as it appears in the lip swatch.

The refill palettes if bought online, come in plastic casing which you can easily use to carry this around (in case you don't have a palette to store it in)

Sometime back I won a small contest held by Etude House. I won their Sweet Recipe - Dear My Jelly Lips-talk lipstick in shade JPK002 Strawberry Syrup.

The lipstick comes in a very cute box with jelly beans drawn on it. The lipstick itself is in a pale cream colored plastic packaging with a crystal ring around the base. The crystal ring is almost the same color as the bullet inside (to make identifying the color easy if you have more than one of these in your stash)

Sally Hansen Salon Collagen Lip Lift Lipstick – Sheer Tranquil Toffee - Review

If you love glosses and prefer a light weight lipstick that goes on sheer then, as the shade name suggests, this is a lovely lipstick to try.
Sally Hansen Salon Collagen Lip Lift lipsticks are super smooth and almost act like gloss – lips become so soft and all dryness is gone in a jiffy. It claims to make the lips appear fuller – and yes it is true. The lipstick has a slight plumping effect.

The packaging is neat – a silver colored package and the top of the lipstick lid has a nice mirror – very helpful when applying the lipstick on the go. One problem though – after using the lipstick for about a month the lid becomes a little lose.

The shade I am reviewing today is Sheer Tranquil Toffee. It is a brown orange with hints of pink.

A single coat is nothing more than a tinted gloss – absolutely loved by the lips when they get moisturized so well. You can apply two or three coats to get a deeper tint.

The drawback if I may say is the staying power – will come off the minute you touch your lips on anything – the good part however is it will leave behind a gentle tint. The lipstick is so nice that you actually won’t mind applying it again and again.
It does have a very light fragrance but its really nice nothing bothering at all. Overall I love this lipstick – a soft shade for everyday use, plumper yet natural looking lips and a smooth finish.

Isa Dora Lip Treat Flavoured Lipstick Review

A lot of people generally prefer cosmetics that are odorless and flavorless. But me, I love floral fragrances and flavoured lippies.
Today I am reviewing a lipstick by Isa Dora (a Swedish brand) called Lip Treat Flavoured Lipstick. I got this online from strawberrynet.com - a good online website that I will review sometime later.
The lipstick comes in a rust packaging - its a shimmery rust not captured well in the photos.

  

The shade is called Melon Sorbet (07) - its a shimmery rust shade just like the cover - all lip treats from the brand are packaged in a container that is exactly the same color as the shade of lipstick itself. That is good as it helps identify the shade when you are searching for the lipstick in a box full of different shades :)
The only drawback is that quality of the casing is not good - its a very regular plastic.


 The texture is creamy but not too moisturizing. But if you don't suffer from dry lips it should be good enough. The lipstick staying power is good - even after a meal it stays lightly on - for a person like me that is a big thing because for me most of my lipsticks are gone after my first sip of water!

And now for the flavour and fragrance - its yummy!!! Yes the fruity fragrance and flavour are really nice - not really melony - but a mixed fruity fragrance. I can't stop myself from licking it :P

I like the fact that the lipstick has light shimmers - it makes the lips look bright but not over the top. I wear it to work with a single swipe and for an evening out two swipes are good enough.
