EN-VY Nail Polish - Black Onyx Swatches, Review, Price

Here is a quick post on swatches for Black Onyx. This is a polish from EN-VY nail color that is apparently only available in Mumbai. The polishes have a very nice texture, are streak free, work well for water marble nail art, and hold your breath.... they cost only Rs 50!

Yup at this price I feel like going out and buying each and every shade available.

Black Onyx is a gray black with very tiny shiny silver glitter. You can see the glitter in the thumb swatch below. The polish goes opaque in two coats and does not chip for at-least 3 days without a top coat.

Black evokes a lot of thoughts and holds a different meaning for different people. While Kareena Kapoor as Poo confirmed that black makes her look thin, guys look handsome in their black tuxedos.

For me black speaks to me of the dark night sky that makes the stars look pretty. Black is the colour whose absence defines white.

Black for me is the color of luxury. And here I present my wishlist for #WhatTheBlack activity.
I am not too materialistic but black evokes this sense of need for the best in terms of luxury so here goes:

Now a little bit about why the above five make it to my #WhatTheBlack wishlist. All of these are synonymous with classic beauties in their own realm. If I am choosing black to be a part of my life then I surely deserve the best!

Black Rules - Flat Footwear Under $50

Sorry for being missing in action on the blog. Wasn't feeling too well and got swamped with a lot of office work too. There are a lot of reviews pending but I hope to get to them pretty soon.

Oh and yes my vellvette bag is finally here after a long wait. I like the products but not their tiny sample sizes. Anyhow more on that later as I still need to click pictures before I post about that.

Coming back to this post, I had created a set of flat black shoes on polyvore and thought I'd share them here. I love wearing flat shoes and since black is a color that every one has in their shoe wardrobe, I decided to create a collection of shoes which are all good looking, comfortable and yes, most importantly they are all priced below $50. Now with the Rupee hitting an all time low I know the price of foreign brands becomes extremely important.

I love the Zara Mary Jane shoes and I'm going to hunt for these at the local Zara stores. If you've seen them around do let me know where I can lay my hands on them.
