My ideal morning - soft sun rays break into my room, I smile at the first rays filtering into my room, happily jump out of bed, get cleaned up and then sit to read the morning paper with soft music running in the background.
My actual morning - alarm at 6:30, snoozed. Alarm at 6:40 - snoozed again. Alarm at 6:50 - ok time to force myself out of bed!
Yup, its a struggle every morning to get out of bed. I dream a lot, in-fact a bit too much. My world in my dreams can be happy and sad, but it keeps my brain working all night. And what this means is that I am tired when I wake up. But, I can't ruin my whole day because I did not have a great start. Instead I try and focus on my daily rituals that can still make or break my day. To start off, I need a fresh clean mouth. The first thing I actually do after waking up is to brush my teeth. Soft gentle bristles of a good tooth brush accompanied by a minty fresh toothpaste. Once my breath is all fresh its time for a good bath and crisp ironed clothes. A quick 5 minute grooming routine follows and soon the lethargy of getting up makes way to a bright new day as I step out and head to work.
