Get Your Skin’s Healthy Shine

All women dream about healthy, glowing, younger-looking skin. We spend money on various facial treatments that promise to make us look the way we want. But we forget the main rule – we are what we eat. It’s proven that all our body diseases are reflected on our face instantly, so does the unhealthy nutrition and bad habits. In this case any expensive facial cream won’t help until you start from inside.

There are lots of diets and advice on how one should be nourished to look healthy, but I’d like to stop at the top list of foods that contributes to our skin health:

  1. Water - clean water is rich in micro-elements keeps up our water balance and washes the toxins away from our body, which is reflected directly on our skin looks. We need to drink about 8 glasses of water to maintain this process.
  2. Blueberries - antioxidants contained in this berry protect your skin from free radicals, and thus keep your skin young.
  3. Dairy products – as long as they’re low-fat and not sweet, they are a huge source of needed vitamins and protein, including vitamin A that enhances the immune system and is responsible for the skin health.
