Maybelline New York Rebel Bouquet Lipsticks REB02 and REB05 - Review, Swatch

This summer girls in India are rejoicing with so many lipsticks out there to perk up their mood. Maybelline India launched their Rebel Bouquet range of lipsticks to add to the excitement.

Rebel Bouquet Collection is the Spring Summer collection of 2015. The lipsticks are a bold take on pastels that summers are associated with.

The collection consists of 6 shades numbered REB01 to REB06. The lipsticks are bright and highly pigmented to give a rich color. They boast of a color bloom technology using honey nectar.

The packaging is a translucent red cap over a silver bodied lipstick. The outer plastic cover actually has the lovely floral REBEL print (this is another great inspiration for some nail art!)

Outfit Post With My New Sunglasses From Esprit

Esprit launched their Spring/Summer 2015 collection of sunglasses some time back. I chose a pair of sunglasses from Esprit this time which are very different from the reflectors you've been seeing me wearing on my instagram posts.

The sunglasses come with a box that has a jute fabric covering. It just felt so earthy - look where I did the shoot - right inside a pot :)

The sunglasses I got have a duo chrome square frame in purple shade. The lenses themselves are a brownish purple - a darker shade at the top which fades to a slightly lighter lens shade at the bottom. I find sunglasses with such faded lenses more flattering than plain colored lenses.

There is a soft cleaning cloth inside which says "If you feel good, you look good" - which is absolutely true. You have to feel good inside to actually look good on the outside.

The material of the glasses is very good (the reason for chosing a good brand, you don't want the plastic to become so hot in summers that it burns your skin!)

The size that fits my face is medium. There are a lot of other options in the Esprit spring summer collection with varying sizes so there is something that will suit everyone.

These sunglasses have a category 3 filter - the filter category basically identifies how dark the lenses are. Darkness is not synonymous with UV protection by the way. A higher filter category simply means that the lenses can filter out more sunshine because they are dark. Usually a range of 0-4 is given where 2-4 is the preferred range.

Esprit Eyewear - Spring/Summer 2015

I wear the sunglasses irrespective of what clothes I'm wearing or what hair style I have because this is a very versatile pair of sunglasses. But to give you an idea about how it looks on me I have clicked a couple of pics. The above pic has my hair tied up in a half pony - the way I don these on my way to work.

And in the pic below I was having some fun shooting a casual summer outfit where I have worn these sunglasses with my hair freshly washed and left open.
