NBBN Theme Post: Christmas Snow Flakes, Candy Cane and Snow Covered Tree - Nail Art Tutorial

Before Christmas bells start to ring I thought I'd try doing a nail art based on the theme. And not just nail art but what I like doing the most is sharing the tutorial on how I created the look.

Lets begin by taking a look at the final Christmas nail art containing snow flakes, candy cane and a snow covered tree on my nails.

Christmas Nail Art

As you can see I did a snow flake pattern on my thumb, candy canes on two fingers, a snow covered tree on the middle finger and made my ring finger nail as the accent nail with a frosty green and red stripes.

NBBN Theme Post: Halloween Pumpkin Nail Art

Some time back my friend Demi had a contest going on for Halloween based photos. The contest was open and accepted makeup, nail art, decorations, anything and everything that had the them Halloween.

My little entry to the contest was a nail art in which I attempted to do free hand pumpkin nail art.

The design was pretty simple.

A base of shimmery orange color followed by free hand black eyes and teeth in different forms.

Since the nail art is pretty simple I am not doing a tutorial this time. Just by looking at the pictures you will understand what is to be done. On one nail I tried saran nail art just to add to the spookiness.

NBBN Theme Post: Monsoon Tips and Tricks

Everyone loves the rains (well I think almost everyone does!) I love to go out and get drenched in the rain at times and then come back home to hot pakoras with tea.

While monsoon’s can be a lot of fun specially the dancing in the rain bit, there are a lot of things you need to take care off during monsoons. From makeup, clothes, to special care for leather products, you must know the tricks to enjoy the monsoon to its fullest.

Daily Travel During Monsoon

• Make sure you are carrying an umbrella with you if you travel a lot. You surely don’t wont to ruin your best dress or hair because of the rain.
• Try and keep your dressy shoes away and stick to something like floaters which will let you enjoy the rain without worrying about the shoes all the time. If you must wear dressy shoes, carry them with you and change from floaters to your classic stilettos once you have reached the venue.
• Try wearing breezy light weight clothes that can dry faster in case you get wet.
