In my last review I reviewed the Aura Vedic Ritual Cleansing Ubtan Mask. I love it for the glow it gives afterwards. But due to my laziness I prefer ready made packs and that is when I tried on the Ritual Skin Lightening Mask from Aura Vedic. This is very similar to the Aura Vedic Ritual Cleansing Ubtan Mask in terms of packaging except that this is a ready to use pack and is meant to be used on a daily basis (the ubtan mask is more for a weekly use).

The Product
Aura Vedic Ritual Skin Lightening Mask comes in a small plastic tub. The Ritual Skin Lightening Mask is a ready to use paste which looks like henna with hints of orange. It is slightly sticky to touch – like the consistency of a pack that has honey added to it.
My experience with the product
The Aura Vedic Ritual Skin Lightening Mask smells of Neem and other organic ingredients – much like the Aura Vedic Ritual Cleansing Ubtan Mask. This is a pre-mixed mask that you can directly use from the tub.
The mask is a little sticky to touch. I cleanse my face and apply it generously on my face. After about 15 minutes I clean it off with luke warm water.
After using it for 3 days my skin looks healthier. The smell is a little overpowering in this mask but the results make up for it. I actually like the incense stick like fragrance - with hints of sandalwood. There is no burning tingling with this mask at all. It feels nice on the skin as it dries off without stretching out the skin.
Since this is a daily use mask I will continue to use it regularly and I am hoping by Diwali my acne scars will lighten up. I will post a picture of my facial acne scars after Diwali where we can all see the results.

- The quantity is a bit too less. I think I will run out of this in about 15-20 days using it daily.

ReplyDeleteI've used it only for about a week so I can't say it makes the skin fair - but yes it is lightening my scars so overall I guess it should improve the complexion
