Diana Of London Perfect Stay Lip Liner–Maroon - Review

If you remember I had done a post about a lip liner that I fondly use as a lipstick – basically cover my entire lips with the liner pencil and top it off with some gloss – I have found another lip liner that I’ll be using in the same manner and thought I should share it here.

Diana of London Perfect Stay Lip Liner that I picked up in the shade Maroon.

What the company claims
“An automatic long lasting lip liner with a twist up easy to use mechanism. It's the perfect partner for your lipstick that keeps it in place for an all day look. It guarantees no feathering and is non fading. Its Smooth gliding formula provides longwearing definition that will last all day. It comes along with an end tail sharpener to form a precise and bold tip.”

The Product
Diana of London Perfect Stay Lip Liner comes in a easy to use retractable pencil with an attached sharpener. The lid of the pencil has a cute crystal attached to it for a little glamour quotient.

My Experience
The Perfect Stay Lip Liner has a nice and smooth texture. It gives good coverage and is easy to use to define the lips. Since the texture is very smooth you can easily fill in your entire lips with the color. As a lip liner (or complete lipstick) it has a very good staying power. It settles down to a smooth matte finish and prevents lipstick from bleeding.

The sharpener is nicely attached to the pencil and can be used to sharpen it when it loses its shape and you need a pointed tip for precise application. The sharpener is attached to the end of the pencil where it also helps to show the color of the pencil and hence makes it easier to find in a bigger stash.

Now coming to the shade I have, Maroon – it’s the perfect Maroon color, very nicely pigmented and a shade that can really brighten up a face. I don’t have a picture of my lips with this on but I will update this post with the pic as soon as I click one. Till then enjoy the swatches!
