Sexy Orange Lips–Faces Glam On Lip Gloss–Chilled Cherry - Review

I had earlier tried the Faces Glam On Lip Gloss in light pink color and absolutely loved it. This time I dared a little bolder shade, and YES I’m loving this one too!

I do not, and I mean never, wear anything on my lips that is in the orange range. But when I saw this gorgeous shade I simply had to have it!

So while you can check my earlier post for all details of the Faces Glam On Lip Gloss range HERE  this post is going to simply talk about this gorgeous shade Chilled Cherry. It is a perfect festive shade of gloss.

The shade is called Chilled Cherry 303 and well is not cherry in color but is a deep orange with golden shimmer particles. In indoor lighting it does appear a little on the cherry side but in true spirits this is a lovely deep orange shade.

Faces Glam On Lip Gloss looks like a deep orange shade on the hand swatch, on the lips it depends on how you apply it. A very light application will give a beautiful orange tint to the lips, a slightly thicker application would leave your lips looking absolutely sexy! I have a medium skin tone and am loving this shade, I think this shade would look even better if you have fairer skin tone. On darker skin tones this might appear too shimmery bright but hey if you love orange on your lips you should try this out despite your skin tone.

On the hand swatch I have done the full product swatch so you can get an idea of the shade. Left side is without flash in indoor lighting while right side is under a flash. As you can see the left swatch appears more like a cherry shade while the right looks deeper orange.

And now take a look at the lip swatches with and without flash. In these swatches I have applied a very thin layer of the gloss. You can see the the shimmer particles look amazing without giving an over the board kind of look. Two swatches are under indoor lighting without flash and hence look a bit pinker than orange. You will also notice that the color does not look too pigmented under flash lighting but in person it appears more like the hand swatch.
